I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:1
Prayer is a vital part of any ministry and is especially needful when we consider the vastness of the Muslim world and the difficulties posed in reaching our Muslim friends with the truth of the gospel. Here are some suggested ways that you can partner with us in prayer:
Current Prayer Requests
Because of improved communications, our world is shrinking into a global village where almost instantaneous news is available from the farthest corners. Our global neighborhood now includes people who live thousands of miles from us. This page will make it possible for you to view current prayer needs from the Muslim world by clicking Current Prayer Requests.
Jumaa Prayer Fellowship
We encourage our prayer partners to fast the noon meal and pray each Friday when our Muslim friends are gathered in the mosque for their special prayer time. Jumaa is the Arabic word for Friday.
You can click on Jumaa Prayer Requests and read the needs presented for your intercession each Friday. If you reside in the United States and want to covenant to fast and pray for Muslims and would prefer to receive the Intercede with the monthly prayer requests by mail, you may e-mail your name and postal address to CMM@cmmequip.org. We are sorry that the time factor and costs prohibit us from sending Intercede by mail to all our overseas friends.

Ramadan Prayer Focus
Ramadan, the ninth month of
the Islamic lunar calendar, will begin September 1 this
year. This month is a time for inner reflection, devotion to God
and self-control for over 1 billion Muslims throughout the
world. Muslims consider the last 10 days of Ramadan highly
blessed, especially the 27th night called the 'Night of Power.'
This night is remembered each year as the night when Muhammad
received the first revelation of the Qur'an in a cave on
Mount Hira, near Mecca in the year AD610. It is equally as
important among orthodox Muslims and in Folk Islam.
During Ramadan millions of Christians join together in prayer
to beseech God on behalf of Muslims, many of whom are earnestly
seeking God during Ramadan. During September/October

Days Prayer Focus" to find special items of prayer for each
day.
International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Christians around the globe united to pray for their persecuted brothers and sisters during the fourth annual International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, an event called for by World Evangelical Fellowship (WEF) in 1996. On Sunday, November 14, Christians from 300,000 churches, evangelical fellowships and organizations in 130 countries prayed that their fellow Christians in places such as Sudan, Afghanistan and India would have the freedom to worship freely.
Again this year on the first Sunday of November, Christians will be joining in faith with members of the Persecuted Church. You may find information about the Persecuted Church at www.PersecutedChurch.org to help you become more involved.
Prayer Journey
Do you want to have a greater burden and pray more effectively for those who have never heard the gospel? One way to achieve this is to spend a few days in a Muslim country, meeting the people and praying for them praying that God will break down the strongholds that are preventing the gospel from penetrating Muslim countries.
Your life will never be the same again, as illustrated by the following testimonies:
